Korean Braised Potatoes
Korean braised potatoes, also known as Gamja Jorim, are one of my favorite simple banchan (side dishes) to whip up. Tender potatoes coated in a sweet, savory soy glaze—what’s not to love? This dish comes together quickly with just a few pantry staples, making it perfect for busy weeknights or as part of a Korean BBQ spread. But the best part? I don’t need to beg the server anymore—I can make this glossy, sweet-savory potato dish right at home! Quick, easy, and absolutely addictive, these glossy little potatoes are the perfect side to any meal.
These braised Korean potatoes make the perfect little side dish for a Korean BBQ night at home. Pair them with juicy pork wraps like Bossam a dollop of Ssamjang and some refreshing Pickled Radish for a spread that feels just like your favorite K-BBQ spot.
